Wendy Black is activating her father’s old hardware shop in Macarthur with an exhibition of waterfall prints.

 

Works feature local falls –Wannon & Nigretta, as well as those further afield- Grampians,Otways, Gippsland, Tasmania.

She has been printmaking for 44 years and this pop-up shop will be her 17 th solo exhibition. This exhibition is part of the Print Council of Australia’s 50 th Anniversary 2016 Year of Print. 

 

Her work is represented in the public collections of National & Regional Art Galleries, City Councils and Universities.

 

Her work was selected for various Art Prizes including Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize, Rick Amor Print Prize, Gippsland Print Prize and John Glover Prize.

Come and see these bright hand made prints at MacBlack Print Room, 24 Heckfield st, Macarthur. Open for 22 days in October.
